Born in Yorkshire, England and studied photography at Leeds University (England). Trained by Frank Newbould Master Photographer (Harrogate, North Yorkshire) in commercial/wedding photography. Frank Newbould is a past winner of the Kodak Gold Medal Awards and with 50 years experience. I progressed onto cruise ships and was a Carnival Cruise Lines Photo/Video manager for ten years on numerous ships in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. After leaving the cruise ship industry, I worked in the British Diplomatic Service and many of my photographs taken were used to promote British/United Kingdom's interest abroad and in the FCO magazine. During my tour of service at the British Embassy in Buenos Aires, I had the privilege to photograph Lady Di, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Rolling Stones who were all visitors to Argentina. |

I currently reside in Miami Beach, Florida and for the past eleven years specialize in weddings.
I photographed my first wedding in 1979 and I never forgot Frank Newbould telling me that a wedding should tell a story, with spontaneous candid photographs and not just posed photographs. This was against the norm at that time, with many studio photographers dominating the market with posed photographs. |

That wonderful day in June 1979 was a perfect English summer and the bride and groom travelled in a horse drawn carriage approximately ten miles through beautiful Yorkshire countryside from the church to the reception. It was really magical and my photographs captured the story within the wedding. I still enjoy weddings and I love to see couples, happy, in love and enjoying themselves. Each wedding is unique and a wonderful experience. |
